MIT research reveals security flaws with Voatz app

The World

Last week on The World we told you about an app that some overseas and military voters will be using to cast ballots in US primaries and the presidential election. An MIT report out today says the app is riddled with security vulnerabilities, including ones that would “allow different kinds of adversaries to alter, stop, or expose a user’s vote.” The World’s Lydia Emmanouilidou, who was first to report on how the app will be used in this election, gives us an update.
