Migration across Darien Gap changes Colombian border village’s economy

Many people wanting to move to the United States have been waiting for the expiration of Title 42, a public health order that kept most people from crossing the border from Mexico. A large number of these migrants have come via South America, and traveled through the Darien Gap — a dangerous jungle between Colombia and Panama — to get to the US. Manuel Rueda reports from Capurgana, a Colombian village on the edge of the Darien, about the industry that has developed around guiding migrants through the jungle.
