Meet the Israeli think tank that protesters say is an existential threat to Israel’s democracy

Israelis have taken part in huge protests for the last 10 weeks, pushing back against a plan to overhaul the country’s judicial system. Today, demonstrators blocked roads, hindered access to Israel’s main international airport, and targeted the office of a right-wing think tank called the Kohelet Policy Forum. The group helped write the bill that many Israelis say would hobble the judiciary and undermine Israel’s democratic system. The World’s Sarah Birnbaum reports on the policy group Kohelet, who funds it and what it’s trying to do in Israel.
