Massive Berlin aquarium bursts

The World

In Berlin, Germany, 1,500 fish all died after a huge aquarium — that’s in the Guinness Book of World Records — suddenly exploded. It also damaged the hotel where it was, as well as nearby cafes and shops. One million liters of water rushed out, flooding the building and streets. The Aquadom was the biggest cylindrical tank in the world at 46 feet tall. Two people are said to have been injured.
