At least 10 lions were killed in the last week in Kenya in two separate incidents, after they attacked the livestock of local herders. Kenya’s lion population has become malnourished following drought and continued climate change. The World’s host Marco Werman spoke with Robert Montgomery, a lion expert and ecologist at the University of Oxford, about the factors behind the continued hunger the lions are facing and what can be done by local authorities to help.
