LGBTQ candidates win big in US — and worldwide

This week, LGBTQ candidates from coast to coast were elected to office in the US. That includes Sarah McBride, who won her state senate race in Delaware and became the first openly transgender US senator in history. But their victories aren’t happening in isolation. Around the world, more queer and transgender politicians are getting elected to higher offices than ever before. The World’s Bianca Hillier reports.
