A report by the independent Russian investigative newspaper, The Insider, says a Latvian member of the European Parliament has been working as an agent for the FSB, Russia’s intelligence service, for decades. The Insider looked at leaked emails between Tatjana Zdanoka and her two Russian FSB case officers, which included detailed reports describing her work as a European legislator trying to foster pro-Kremlin sentiment in the Baltic region. The World’s host Marco Werman speaks with Christo Grozev, one of the investigative journalists who worked on the story for The Insider.
