Landmines swept up by floods endanger evacuation in Ukraine

In Ukraine’s southern region of Kherson, evacuations are underway to get residents out of areas affected by flooding from the Dnipro River following the destruction of the Kakhovka dam. While Russia and Ukraine both accuse the other of committing sabotage, the rising water raises concerns over mines dislodged by the flooding. The World’s host Marco Werman spoke to Tymur Pistriuha, head of the Ukrainian Deminers Association.
