Beijing denies the existence of re-education centers in Xinjiang. They’re said to hold as many as 1 million Muslims. One of the scholars researching and saving evidence of these camps is Tim Grose. He’s an assistant professor of China studies at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Indiana. Host Marco Werman spoke to Grose about how he got involved in researching these hidden internment camps in western China.
