Jerusalem remains tense after holy site raids

Tensions remained high in Jerusalem over the weekend. Israeli police once again raided the al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Sunday, injuring dozens of Palestinians. This followed a massive raid on Friday which saw hundreds of Palestinians injured, according to medics. Tensions have been high in the region for weeks following attacks by Palestinians on Israeli cities, and Israeli raids and arrests in the occupied West Bank. The World’s host Marco Werman spoke with Khaled Elgindy, a senior fellow with the Middle East Institute, about the source of all the tension.
