The former European Central Bank chief, Mario Draghi, was sworn in as Italy’s prime minister over the weekend after weeks of political uncertainty. Draghi will head a national unity coalition tasked with confronting the coronavirus crisis and economic slump, hopefully with the help of more than 200 billion euros in EU recovery funds.
