Tony Blair served as British prime minister for three consecutive terms from 1997 to 2007. But his decision to support George W. Bush in the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003 caused bitter divisions both in his party and among Labour voters. Now, after 13 years of Conservative rule, Britain’s Labour party is hoping for a return to power in the next general election. Up to now, Labour leaders have kept Blair at an arm’s length but is that about to change? The World’s Europe correspondent Orla Barry reports.
