As Iran holds a presidential election on Friday, many inside the country say they are not taking part. They say the process is carefully choreographed and designed to eliminate any real competition. The only rival to the conservatives in Iran was the reform movement, which began in the mid-1990s. Today, the movement is on life support, but that doesn’t mean everyone in Iran has given up on the possibility of political change.
