IOC boots two Belarusian coaches from OIympic Village

On Friday, two Belarusian coaches were kicked out of the Olympic Village in Tokyo. The IOC said in a statement that they were expelled “In the interest of the wellbeing of the athletes of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus.” This comes following the ongoing saga of Belarusian sprinter Krystina Tsimanouskaya, who defected to Poland earlier this week.
