International movie productions may resume as Hollywood strikers reach a deal

The unions representing actors, writers and other workers involved in moviemaking have reached tentative deals with studio executives and streaming companies making movies and TV shows. The labor stoppage sent ripples across the world as Hollywood’s investments and production timelines were shut down. The World’s Marco Werman talks with Miranda Banks, an associate professor of film, television, and media studies at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles about what an end to the strike would mean for international moviemaking.
