Pro-democracy activists in Hong Kong are fighting for control of the narrative of their protest movement after two undercover cops were beaten up by a crowd at the Hong Kong airport Tuesday. Chinese officials are calling it terrorism. Protest leaders are issuing apologies. Host Marco Werman speaks with a witness to one of the assaults, American professor Zeynep Tufekci, who helps us analyze the social media battle and how the protesters attempt to circumvent government surveillance.
