Police in southern India have shot and killed four men accused of raping and murdering a 27-year-old veterinarian. The suspects were in custody and taken to the scene of the crime. Then, according to police, the men attempted to seize police weapons. The killings have been celebrated by some, but have also raised concerns among human rights lawyers.
