The World

The violence started on Sunday, and dozens of casualties have already been reported. The conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh region has been simmering for more than a decade. Its history is rooted in territorial conflict, national identity, religion, and the fall of the Soviet Union. Host Marco Werman speaks with Simon Saradzhyan, director of the Russia Matters Project at the Harvard Kennedy School.
