‘I was in a Houthi prison’

Representatives from both sides in the Yemen war met with UN negotiators in Sweden yesterday and agreed to a first confidence-building measure. They will swap thousands of prisoners detained during the nearly four-year war. We hear from one former prisoner who says that detentions have triggered deep grievances throughout Yemen, but the release of family members will win people over and encourage them to consider ending the bitter civil war.
