With nearly 600,000 reported deaths from COVID-19, the whole world is watching for progress in the scientific race to develop a much-needed vaccine. US biotech company Moderna seems to be taking a lead with published results from phase one of its trial out this week, and news that it’s launching phase three clinical trials in just 10 days.
