 Under Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Hungary’s news media has been transformed from one of Eastern Europe’s freest and fairest to one largely controlled by the government. The World’s Orla Barry reports that independent news outlets have been either shut down or sidelined, leaving the public bereft of basic facts and opposition opinions.
