How Hong Kong is dealing with the coronavirus

Hong Kong has suffered its first fatality from the coronavirus, a young man who had visited Hubei Province, the epicenter of the virus, over Chinese New Year. Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam has ordered a 14-day quarantine for anyone returning from mainland China. She’s also under intense pressure to close the border with mainland China completely. Thousands of doctors, nurses and other medical staff in Hong Kong are striking over the issue. Marco Werman speaks with the BBC’s Danny Vincent who is himself in a 14-day self-quarantine after returning recently from mainland China. Also, Steven Li, a Canadian who teaches in Wuhan, has had to stay in his apartment for 11 days. Li got antsy and he needed a few groceries. So he got on his bike and cycled around Wuhan.
