Hot water

The blistering temperatures we’ve been reporting on across the globe are not just in the air, but in the ocean too. Buoys off the southern tip of Florida registered water temperatures of 100 and 101 degrees on Sunday and Monday. Meteorologists say this could be the hottest seawater ever recorded anywhere, exceeding the prior record set in the waters off Kuwait three summers ago. The World’s Marco Werman has details.
