Historians congregate in Warsaw to preserve accurate history of region

Over the centuries, the history of Eastern and Central Europe has been written and rewritten according to whoever’s been in power. In recent years, historians from former Soviet republics and their neighbors have been congregating in Warsaw to revisit that history. Rebecca Rosman reports that they are working together to document what they call “real history,” even when it flies in the face of the governments in charge.
