Haiti and Saudi Arabia boast new triumphs in women’s sport

Haiti’s women’s national team notched a crucial win over Chile to clinch a spot in the upcoming World Cup. It’s the first time Haiti’s women’s team has advanced to the World Cup. Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, a women’s national tennis team has been assembled and they will got to the Billy Jean King Cup in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in April. It’s the first international women’s tennis appearance on the world stage. The World’s Marco Werman tells the story of both.
