Global seed vault in Norway now carries 1 million seeds

The Svalbard Global Seed Vault now has 1 million varieties of crops stored in its deep freeze. Located in Norway, near the Arctic, the seed vault is meant to prevent crops essential to food production from being destroyed. The World’s Marco Werman talks to The Crop Trust’s senior scientist Hannes Dempewolf.
