Global debt crisis continues to grow

Much of the “global south,” primarily referring to Latin America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania, finds itself mired in an international debt crisis. Country after country is now crippled due the massive amounts of debt it owes to foreign creditors. The World’s Marco Werman spoke with Vasuki Shastry, an associate fellow with Chatham House, about this phenomenon and how to solve it.
