The European Union has suspended its “use-it-or-lose it” rules on airport landing slots, so airlines can halt “ghost flights” in which planes were taking off without any passengers. Sally Gethin, an aviation and travel commentator talks with The World’s Marco Werman about why so many aircraft were flying some routes without a single passenger.
