Georgia faces a bumpy road to EU membership

Thousands of people are on the streets in Tbilisi, Georgia, protesting a bill aimed at “foreign influence” in the country. It would require organizations receiving more than 20% funding from international sources to register as “foreign agents.” Many fear this legislation would push Georgia further from its Western allies, and impede the country’s aspirations for membership in the European Union. The dominant political party, Georgian Dream, has been seen as not friendly enough to the West, and not harsh enough with Russia. Levi Bridges reports from the Georgian capital.
