French president buys a hybrid, rolls out new green policies, and vows to protect Mont-Blanc

Host Marco Werman speaks with Jean-Marc Peillex, the mayor of Saint-Gervais, a French town at the foot of Mont Blanc, Western Europe’s highest mountain. Peillex has been advocating for better protections for the mountain against overcrowding and pollution. He even wrote a letter to French President Emmanuel Macron asking for his help. Today, Macron visited the mountain, vowing to protect Mont-Blanc.
