Dozens of French dentists across the country are stripping down naked in their offices in a new movement called #dentisteapoil or “dentists in the buff.” Starting May 11, many people in France will be going back to work as most lockdown restrictions are set to be lifted. But dentists feel vulnerable. They say they don’t have enough personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect them against the dangers of the coronavirus. So, to protest, they’re going naked to show that vulnerability. Maud Braun-Reys is one of the dentist surgeons taking part. She works in Obernai, near Strasbourg, France.
