France will impose a nightly curfew starting on Saturday on almost 20 million of the country’s 67 million people in an attempt to curb a resurgent coronavirus. Like other European leaders, French President Emmanuel Macron is hoping to avoid blanket nationwide lockdowns at all costs. But is that the right course of action?
