One of Taiwan’s richest people now wants to be the island territory’s next leader. Terry Gou is the billionaire founder of Foxconn, a company best known for assembling Apple iPhones in China and elsewhere. Gou has announced a run for the presidency, promising that his business savvy will smooth over relations with Beijing, prevent a Chinese invasion and ensure that Taiwan doesn’t become “the next Ukraine.” The World’s Patrick Winn speaks with host Marco Werman.
