Photographer Khrystyna Kulakovska spent 15 years in the Ukrainian port city of Mariupol. Now she’s trying to learn what’s become of friends and family there. On Wednesday, Kulakovska reached her friend Masha who had just managed to escape from Mariupol. Kulakovska tells The World’s Marco Werman about the conversation.
