Israel’s Prime Minister Naftali Bennet is visiting the United Arab Emirates. It marks a significant moment in the region as the two countries normalized relations with Israel last year. But as the UAE consolidates relations with Israel, it also strengthens them with its rival in Iran. The World’s Marco Werman spoke with Sanam Vakil, a senior research fellow with Chatham House, about the new strategy and balancing act the UAE is employing in the region.
