The first commercial mission to the moon is expected to launch into space today. The mission is privately funded and will launch the “Peregrine” lander into orbit from Cape Canaveral, Florida. But the mission isn’t without controversy as it’s bringing human remains to be buried on the moon. That’s attracted criticism from Native American groups, which deem the moon to be sacred. Host Carolyn Beeler speaks with Mark Sundahl, a law professor at Cleveland State University, about space law concerning the moon and who exactly owns it.
