The Philippines entered 2023 with inflation growth at a 14-year-high. Experts blame skyrocketing prices for everything from food and beverages to transport and utilities. So, that’s why Filipinos are taking on extra work and sacrificing sleep just to pay the bills. Ashley Westerman reports from Manila on the record low rates of unemployment and underemployment.
