‘Expected to do more with less’: Canada’s national women’s soccer team seeks equal pay and support

Members of Canada’s National Women’s soccer team have been speaking out about ongoing contract negotiations with the country’s federation, Canada Soccer. The athletes are asking for equal pay and equal resources as they prepare for this summer’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. On Thursday, they detailed their complaints to parliamentarians in Ottawa. The World’s Bianca Hillier reports.
