Ex-FARC leader initiates call to arms

A former leader of the FARC, Colombia’s largest rebel group, called out to his followers to take up arms. Ivan Marquez said that the 2016 peace deal, which helped put an end to Colombia’s 50-year civil war, didn’t live up to its promise. The World’s host Carol Hills speaks with Fernando Cutz, who advised the US government in the peace process in 2016. He’s also a former director for South America at the White House for presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
