European parliament member Andresen wants to ban Russian energy imports now

There’s an ongoing debate in the European Union over an immediate ban on Russian energy imports. Opponents of such a ban include Germany, which is among the countries that are the most reliant on Russian energy resources. While the country has advocated instead for a gradual ban, European parliament members like Rasmus Andresen, from Germany, say the time is now. Andresen, a spokesperson for the group the Greens–European Free Alliance in parliament, spoke with host Carolyn Beeler from Brussels.
