In Washington, Congress is at a standstill over funding for Ukraine. For months now, the Biden administration has been pushing Congress to pass a supplemental funding bill that would include roughly $60 billion in aid for Ukraine. But despite pressure from the Biden administration, Republicans have signaled that they will block the funding, unless the bill includes measures to clamp down on migration at the US southern border.
