Going into Sunday’s presidential election in Chile, the polls suggested it would be a tight race. But a young, left-leaning former student protest leader has won in a landslide. Gabriel Boric promised voters he would address inequality and raise taxes on the wealthy. The 35-year-old will be Chile’s youngest-ever president. The World’s Jorge Valencia reports.
