Displaced Ukrainian family visits their homeland

It was nearly one year ago when people across Ukraine woke up at the crack of dawn to the news that the Russian military was invading their country. Since then, about 8 million Ukrainians have fled their homeland. They’ve resettled abroad, for who-knows how long, even if they’ve still got loved ones back home. This week, The World’s Daniel Ofman met one family who’s been living in London for most of the last year. They were riding the train together from Poland, heading back into Ukraine.
