Violence continues to flare in the west Sudan region of Darfur. A new UN report estimates up to 15,000 people were killed last year in just one Darfur city. It’s all too familiar to Mutasim Ali, a former Darfur resident and a legal adviser for Montreal’s Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights.
