Canadians have been far more disciplined and coordinated in their fight against COVID-19 than their neighbors to the south. The US has three times as many infections per capita. Dr. Susy Hota, an infectious disease specialist at the University of Toronto, tells The World’s Carol Hills that geography in part explains why Canada has an edge. But other factors, Hota explains, like cross-partisan consensus are key to explaining the difference.
