Colombian government plans to raise Spanish shipwreck

The Colombian government announced this week it will work to raise a 300-year-old shipwreck called the San Jose. The shipwreck sits in Colombia’s territorial waters but it is claimed by a number of groups and nations. The World’s Marco Werman spoke with Ricardo Borrero, a nautical archaeologist, about the history of the shipwreck and the feasibility of the Colombian government’s plan.
