China’s heat waves and drought are causing major power cuts

China has seen record high temperatures this summer, and very low rainfall, which have wreaked havoc on the country’s power supplies. Factories are being forced to halt production, malls can only be open for limited hours and many places have had to cut the lights and the AC. The World’s Rebecca Kanthor in Shanghai tells host Carol Hills how the country is coping.
