Back in 2008 when Beijing held the Summer Games, the big environmental worry was smog. Athletes were concerned about breathing it in while competing. Since then, China has improved air quality. Now at the Winter Games, the big worry is about snow, and the environmental impact of making lots of it. Alongside that specific worry is an increased concern about the impact of the Games on climate change. The World’s Rebecca Kanthor reports.
