China cuts graphite exports to the US, worrying EV car makers. Can Canada come to the rescue?

China began restricting exports of graphite supplies needed to made electric vehicle batteries on Dec. 1. EV car makers are nervous about shortages because the US has no domestic supplies of its own. One of the world’s largest sources of graphite has been discovered in Alaska but the company with mining rights to the site is Canadian. Nate Herz  reports from Alaska’s Seward Peninsula that locals have concerns.
