The United Kingdom likes to see itself as one of the world’s top performers when it comes to scientific research. But some of that success was thanks to funding from the European Union. When Brexit took place, scientists in the UK worried that the money would dry up. The World’s Europe correspondent Orla Barry reports that those fears are now starting to become a reality.
